Getting some color on the Autumn Sedum. An not just the little bee. This is a definite sign that cooler temps are on their way. I just really wish those cooler temps weren’t the predicted record breaking low high temp for the day that is expected later in the week.
One of the signs of Autumn being well on its way is this sedum beginning to take on color. We are still very much in the green, so we aren’t even close yet.
It is kind of hard to believe that this green, broccoli looking plant will turn first a pale, ballet pink and then darken into deep rusty tones as we get deeper into fall.
My Autumn Sedum is just starting to get some color on it, so that means we are closing out summer and heading into fall. Normally, I’m not quite ready, but I really am this year. I’m beyond ready to have my windows open for more than a few hours here and there. I’m going to try to make it a goal for this fall to spend more time out hiking and taking pictures. We’ll see how good I am at actually meeting that goal.
I love how the wings on the bee look like stained glass with those veins.
My Autumn Sedum is just beginning to tinge pink. The season change is coming. The quality isn’t the best as I was avoiding getting drenched, but I still thought it was pretty.
