Craft Room Project: 2 Out Of 4

It really doesn’t feel like much, but it is progress. 2 of the 4 faces are built. They should be ready to attach to the sides of the cabinets tomorrow.

I was hoping to get more done, but I’d forgotten how much room it takes to have these clamped while the glue dries, so I only got around to the two. I may rearrange the order I do some things tomorrow so I have the room to get a little more done.

The goal for tomorrow is to get quite a few of the side boards for the doors routered out so they are ready to work on as that is part of the mess I really want to get out of the way before I paint. The last two beadboard panels need to be sanded so they are ready for paint. If I can get those things done and get these two faces mounted, I can end my work time tomorrow building the last two faces so they are ready to be mounted the day after.

If all goes well and I don’t run into any hiccups and I can get everything cleaned up well over the weekend, I should be able to start painting by the first of the week. It might possibly also mean I will start mounting cabinets by the end of next week.
