I was up at the ass crack of dawn today.
Why?
Because my contractors are coming out today to start on my craft room!
I’ll be flat out exhausted by this afternoon, but it is well worth it. I’m not sure my kids are going to agree as we’ve realized we might run into some logistical issues. Noise is going to be a big one for pretty much everyone because Hubby, MC and BG all are doing video meetings.
Another one I’m going to need to discuss with the contractors is potential power outages. They will be adding electrical so the power will go down at some point, but I have no clue when or how long. My fingers are crossed for this week as MC has tests next week.
The photo is of the current unfinished state of the stairs going to the basement. I still haven’t decided exactly how I’m going to do any flooring on the stairs as that isn’t part of what the contractors are going to do. I might want to get on that.

Right after I posted this, our internet dropped. Right in the middle of a class meeting for MC. Totally not related to construction, but believe me, I heard ALL about it.

It was more of a blip. Just enough to kick him out of his meeting. Next week just might be interesting if our internet is going to be wonky.

My friends kid had an internet outage and power outage when she was taking her final nursing exam she needed to graduate as a nurse…

Ugh! How awful! I know I can turn my phone into a mobile hotspot if necessary, but it can’t handle all 3 needing to do a meeting at once.
