Why is it that it seem the only time the spiders decide to decorate my fence it is also a really windy day making it nearly impossible to get an amazing, non-blurry photo? I’m not complaining much because this is still pretty cool, but I’d really love a day where it was still. And dewy. Dewy makes amazing spiderweb shots.

I am a slightly sane artist, amateur photographer, book addict, wife, mom and raging introvert. I have more hobbies than I can count, so it is beyond shocking that I manage to find time to do any of them, let alone most of them and still have time to do anything else. Of all the talents I claim, writing wasn’t one of them until my muse dropped the idea for a book on my head.

Great shot. I have yet to master one of these shots! So hard to get for me!

I really need to try and use my tripod, but I so rarely grab it when I’m just going out in the yard.

This looks pretty good without it still. I know what you mean about just wanting to maybe grab a quick shot and not lugging the tripod out with you though.

Beautiful photo! Yes they are typically hard to photograph 😂 my phone camera definitely can’t focus on them…

My macro lens really isn’t a fan of any movement, so any kind of wind or breeze already makes getting a photo interesting, but the webs are so easily moved, it is so much harder!
