This has got to be one of my favorite flowers, not just my favorite iris. It is so delicate looking and has so much detail in each petal with all the little ruffles along the edges. It is amazing to see this next to another iris that has almost no frills and to understand they are the same type of flower.

I have these in a couple of places. I’d like to put them in a couple of others, but those areas just get too wet and hold the water. They would drown.
