I have finally gotten a decent picture of one of my newest visitors. It looks like I have at least 3 that are fighting over the feeder. They are still really skittish and I can’t get as close as I like even with my zoom lens. This is even cropped to get closer, but it is way better than most I’ve tried to get so far.

I have hummingbirds here all the time, often 8 or 10 of them coming to the feeder that serves 4 plus they like the flowers on the deck.

I just put the feeder out a few weeks ago so I’m thrilled they are coming. I had to crop this one to get it closer. I hope the start to get a little used to me so I can get closer.

We’ve had them practically land on us, they’re very acclimated to humans. A few years ago, we used to hold the feeder and they’d come eat. “Eating out of our hands.”
