And We Have A Name: Sow Thistle

Yellow Dandelion(?) Flower

After a little poking around, I’ve discovered my mysterious “dandelion” is in fact a sow thistle. Now those little differences I saw make sense. I love learning something new through taking pictures!

I am a slightly sane artist, amateur photographer, book addict, wife, mom and raging introvert. I have more hobbies than I can count, so it is beyond shocking that I manage to find time to do any of them, let alone most of them and still have time to do anything else. Of all the talents I claim, writing wasn’t one of them until my muse dropped the idea for a book on my head.

    1. It was just because it was so insanely tall and those tiny differences that I only noticed because I was taking macro shots that I even questioned it. How funny that this (or at least certain types) is something that is often intentionally planted in flower beds yet it look so similar to weeds others work insanely hard to kill out of their yards and flower beds.
