This week’s to do list is long. Full of things I need to do and appointments. I’ll be taking breaks as I can to enjoy the flowers starting to come up, keeping my fingers crossed that we don’t get the late freeze everyone keeps saying is possible.

    1. Thanks! I cannot get over how much of a difference I’m seeing with my new camera. I really didn’t expect that much of a noticeable improvement.

      1. It’s so exciting when you see what your old cameras were missing out on! I’m itching to take my new Polaroid out but at 2 bucks a pop I have to be uber selective. 🤔🤔🤔 My daughter was like “you have to take some pictures of Gabey”…our dog. He isn’t exactly Polaroid worthy

      2. I will probably do a side by side post once things calm down. I’m taking a lot of pictures that are similar to what I’ve taken in the past and looking from one to the other is kind of shocking. Especially when I think the old one was really good, then I look at one from the new camera. I honestly didn’t think it would get a whole lot better from my old one and is one of the big reasons why it took so long for me to break down and upgrade. The cost being the second. Thankfully, it is the same kind of camera so I didn’t have to also replace my lenses. That NEVER would have happened.

      3. I take awful care of my lenses and at this point theres no way to de-dust them so I’m sure I’m missing out on what mine can do. I invested so much money and then became 14 and didn’t know how to take care of anything.

      4. Oh, no! That just makes me want to cry! I don’t know what I’d do without my different lenses.

        It’s funny because when I handed off my old camera to my daughter, she wanted me to show her EVERYTHING, including how to take care of the lenses (we will be sharing most of them). Knowing her, she will be even better than me because she is so dang particular. I doubt I will ever see a speck of dust or fingerprint on any lens she has used.

        I swear one has a rainbow fingerprint on the *inside*! No one could help me with it and I heard there’s no such thing as a place that will clean your lenses professionally!??

      6. I have no clue how some of those things end up inside a lens. I have read that you have to be careful taking them from warm to really cold (or the other way around) because it can cause condensation on the inside, so that may be part of what happened with yours.

        I’m pretty sure my old 35mm camera had a lens that had something like that on it. Granted, my camera was OLD and I got it used, so who knows what it had been through to get to me.

      8. I think it really depends on where that spot is. I don’t think it did anything to my 35mm photos, but those already weren’t that great, so who knows. It is possible that because you are looking from the outside in, you are seeing something that the lens doesn’t pick up from the inside out.
