Frosty Leaf

Frosty Leaf

Today is decorating day. Normally that means both inside and out, but we got the out done early because they were predicting crappy weather. It is kinda funny how insane my kids are about this tradition. They have been talking about it for weeks and bounced off the walls when they got up this morning. So much so, you would have thought it was actually Christmas morning instead. Time to get my sparkle on!

I am a slightly sane artist, amateur photographer, book addict, wife, mom and raging introvert. I have more hobbies than I can count, so it is beyond shocking that I manage to find time to do any of them, let alone most of them and still have time to do anything else. Of all the talents I claim, writing wasn’t one of them until my muse dropped the idea for a book on my head.

  1. I’m so jealous! I’m an itching to get the decorations out, but waiting until Dec 1st. I need to live in America where it is totally acceptable to put the tree and decorations up the day after Thanksgiving 😄

    1. Yeah, you can put them up pretty much anytime. Some people won’t like you for it, but you can put them up. We had someone on the street behind us getting theirs up before Halloween this year. We’ve been doing this for as long as I can remember. Day after Thanksgiving, up go the decorations with the first decoration going up after dessert the day of. The hanging of the Santa curtain is what kicks off the holidays for us.
