Fall Snow

I think we skipped it. We have already had a measurable snow. Not a ton, but measurable. We are also stupidly cold for being in the middle of October, including already having freeze warnings. But hey! I get to really test out the new furnace. I just hope it doesn’t completely kill off my mums that are JUST starting to bloom.

I am a slightly sane artist, amateur photographer, book addict, wife, mom and raging introvert. I have more hobbies than I can count, so it is beyond shocking that I manage to find time to do any of them, let alone most of them and still have time to do anything else. Of all the talents I claim, writing wasn’t one of them until my muse dropped the idea for a book on my head.

  1. Our new home is further out of town and will mean a longer commute to work which I don’t look forward to in wintery conditions. I actually like the snow, just not driving in it. It’s a shame you didn’t get to enjoy the autumnal season longer.

    1. I am so grateful that Hubby has an amazing flexible work environment so he can work from home on bad weather days.

We are looking at some “normal” temps this week, so we may get an actual Fall after all, but it has been kind of crazy.

    1. Pretty sure we set a record for the earliest measurable snowfall. We didn’t end up getting quite as cold as they predicted, so I’m hoping my mums last for a while. Sadly, I have a feeling this is going to be indicative of a nasty winter for us.

      1. I am worried we will have a nasty cold winter too. I hope your mums last and that you don’t have a ton of snow this winter! I can’t believe you’ve already set a record for the earliest measurable snowfall! Stay warm!!!
