Spiders!

Spider In An Evergreen

Stick a fork in me… I’m done! Well… with the painting part anyway. Tomorrow will be starting to move all my craft supplies from my office upstairs to the newly painted corner in the basement.

While I didn’t see this particular breed of spider in my work today, I sure did run across a whole lot of those tiny little buggers that like to spin the cobwebs in the corners. I JUST vacuumed the new windows out like a day or two ago and all 3 of them already had a whole bunch of webs and a few spiders in them. Same thing with the areas along the ceiling in the area I needed to paint. Needless to say I was stupidly grateful that I wasn’t up on the ladder when I felt something in my hair (cue massive freak out) only to find out it was a tiny chip of wood.

As usual with any painting project, I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. Even using a sprayer this time, I still had a whole lot of up and down the ladder and crawling around the floor. That was mostly prep work, but it still kicked my butt.

I will have before, after, and progress pics when the whole project is done. Not sure if that will be tomorrow or not as I cannot move the big pieces like my workbench by myself. I’ll be at Hubby’s mercy on those. Hopefully he is feeling extra motivated tomorrow evening.

I am a slightly sane artist, amateur photographer, book addict, wife, mom and raging introvert. I have more hobbies than I can count, so it is beyond shocking that I manage to find time to do any of them, let alone most of them and still have time to do anything else. Of all the talents I claim, writing wasn’t one of them until my muse dropped the idea for a book on my head.
