Dwarf Day Lilies

Rusty Dwarf Day Lily

I have known that these were a type of lily, but I was never 100% certain what type. When looking to try and find out, I discovered that the tiny little sampling of colors that I have is NOTHING in comparison to what is available. Now, I want a whole lot more than I have now. They are so pretty. Lilies in general come in a close second to irises as one of my favorite flowers. I have tons of day lilies (full size), a few dwarfs and 3 different asiatic lilies. It took me forever to have and keep the asiatics because either the deer or the rabbits around here always ate them to the ground before they could grow. With the recent rash of construction, the deer have kind of become non-existent, but we still have tons of rabbits, so I’m thinking it was the deer.

I am a slightly sane artist, amateur photographer, book addict, wife, mom and raging introvert. I have more hobbies than I can count, so it is beyond shocking that I manage to find time to do any of them, let alone most of them and still have time to do anything else. Of all the talents I claim, writing wasn’t one of them until my muse dropped the idea for a book on my head.
