Crazy Mode

Pergola Pathway

It is officially recital weekend and I’m in crazy mode. Yesterday was all about running around and getting some last minute things taken care of (why it takes until last minute before she realizes she needs some of these kinda important things is beyond me). Today won’t be much better because I, again, managed to add another thing to my to do list when I offered to make the recital bouquets for BG and her dance friend.

I’m taking a tiny break for myself before the real whirlwind begins tomorrow. I’ve got to go pick up the flowers and start making the bouquets today so they are ready to hand off to the other mom tomorrow. I got all the non-flower parts I wanted yesterday, so that part is off my to do list.

I had to rope Hubby in to help out as in the middle of all of this MC has a minor surgical procedure that he has to have done TOMORROW. It isn’t really a huge deal as it is outpatient, but it will take care of an issue that has been causing him all kinds of discomfort and pain. It needs to be done now and just couldn’t be put off. Since there is no way I can take him to that and meet my other commitments, Hubby will be taking him while I do flowers and hair.

This is my last break for probably the next 2 days. I love this time of year, but it is absolutely INSANE with the rush, rush, rush of preparations and then the actual 2 days worth of dress rehearsal and recital. So I’m going to grab my last, leisurely cup of coffee before I lose my ever loving mind for the rest of the weekend.
