Still Waiting On The White Stuff

Buried Snowman

Still no snow. We’ve been cold, but no snow.

I finally got up the energy to get my horrific mess cleaned up in the garage after the nutcracker project. My garage floor no longer looks like a sickly pink and the piles of sawdust have been swept away.

I took the opportunity to clean up and organize a bit because I had so shove some things off to the side to make room for my new saw. Now my space is nice and clean and organized so I can easily get to what I need. I’ve slowly been going through every room in my house over the last year or so doing much the same. I’d already done most of the garage, but this kind of finished it all off.

All I have left now is the catch all that has become my basement. Even that has been getting little nips taken out of it here and there as Hubby goes through and throws away what he can. We are going to have to get someone out to haul away some big pieces that are in bad enough shape to not be able to be donated and can’t be tossed in the trash along with at least a couple of trips to charity. My goal is to maybe get that done early next year.

Little bits at a time goes a long way.

I am a slightly sane artist, amateur photographer, book addict, wife, mom and raging introvert. I have more hobbies than I can count, so it is beyond shocking that I manage to find time to do any of them, let alone most of them and still have time to do anything else. Of all the talents I claim, writing wasn’t one of them until my muse dropped the idea for a book on my head.
